We specialize in the distribution of fast-moving consumer goods (FMCGs), agri-trade products like maize and coffee, and logistics services. Our mission is to support inclusive and sustainable trade, with a sharp focus on customer satisfaction and ethical business practices.
Our Story & Background
Keystone Investments Ltd was born in Kampala out of a clear mission: to fix long‐standing market inefficiencies in Uganda’s distribution sector. Our founders saw that fragmented supply chains – with many small “mom-and-pop” outlets and disconnected wholesalers – drove up costs and delayed deliveries. Recognizing this, Keystone’s team set out to bridge the gap between wholesale and retail.
Rather than following the old model where wholesalers and retailers operate separately, we integrated both functions into one streamlined platform. This hybrid approach allowed us to cut out middlemen, reduce duplication and waste, and pass savings directly to our customers.
From the start, Keystone has been deeply technology-driven. Our digital platform empowers shops and large retailers to order inventory with a tap, track shipments in real time, and settle invoices on mobile money. This mobile-first system cuts delays, standardizes pricing, and eliminates unnecessary manual work.
Keystone’s founding team brought a wealth of experience in trade, logistics, and technology. By combining local insights with regional ambition, we have steadily expanded our network from Kampala to other parts of Uganda, with the goal of becoming a regional leader in smart, inclusive distribution.
